Transform from nervous to natural. Master confident, engaging public speaking for presentations, competitions, and leadership.
We believe that confident communication is not a talentâit's a skill that can be learned, practiced, and mastered by anyone willing to invest in themselves.
A comprehensive curriculum that meets students where they are and takes them where they want to goâfrom nervous to natural, from hesitant to confident.
Our High School Public Speaking Program is built on a foundation of progressive skill development, personalized coaching, and real-world application. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all training or generic public speaking tips. Instead, we've designed a comprehensive curriculum that meets students where they are and takes them where they want to go.
Every student enters our program with unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Some are terrified of speaking in front of others. Others can speak but struggle to connect with their audience. Some want to win speech competitions. Others want to lead student government or excel in class presentations. Our program recognizes these differences and provides pathways for all.
Skills build systematically from foundations to mastery, ensuring no gaps in learning.
1-on-1 sessions tailored to each student's learning style, pace, and goals.
Every skill learned applies directly to presentations, competitions, and leadership roles.
Develop tools and techniques to manage nerves, build confidence, and transform fear into focused energy.
Learn voice control, body language, pacing, and presence that command attention and respect.
Structure speeches, tell stories, and use persuasion to create memorable, impactful presentations.
Speak with authority, inspire action, and communicate in ways that establish credibility and influence.
Compete at the highest levels in speech competitions and deliver standout presentations in academic settings.
We start with mindset and confidence because technical skills mean little if students are too anxious to use them. Our approach combines cognitive-behavioral techniques, gradual exposure, and reframing strategies to help students transform their relationship with public speaking.
Great speeches require three elements working in harmony: clear structure (organization and flow), compelling content (stories, evidence, ideas), and confident delivery (voice, body, presence). Our program develops all three simultaneously, recognizing that weakness in any area undermines the whole.
We don't teach students to become someone elseâwe help them become the best version of themselves as communicators. Authenticity builds trust, creates connection, and makes speaking sustainable. Students learn to leverage their unique personality, experiences, and voice rather than adopting artificial personas.
Mastery comes through deliberate practice followed by real-world application. Each level includes extensive practice opportunities, immediate feedback, and strategies for applying skills in actual speaking situationsâfrom classroom presentations to competitions to leadership roles.
How each level builds on the previous, creating a comprehensive path from nervous beginner to confident communicator
Our program is designed as a progressive journey where each level builds essential skills that enable success at the next level. Students don't just learn isolated techniquesâthey develop a comprehensive communication toolkit that grows more sophisticated and powerful with each level.
Level 1 (Foundations) establishes the fundamental building blocks: confidence, voice control, and basic structure. Without these, students can't effectively progress. Think of this as learning to walk before you run.
Level 2 (Expression) builds on those foundations by adding emotional connection, storytelling, and persuasion. Students learn to move beyond simply delivering information to creating impact and connection.
Level 3 (Leadership) elevates students to advanced techniques for authority, influence, and standout performance. This level assumes mastery of fundamentals and expression, allowing students to focus on sophisticated skills.
Level 4 (Mastery) represents the pinnacleâstudents develop their unique voice, create original content, and adapt their skills to modern media. This level is for students ready to become thought leaders and master communicators.
While the program is designed progressively, students can enter at any level that matches their current skills. Our coaches assess each student's needs and ensure they're placed appropriately. Students can also go back to earlier levels to strengthen specific foundations if needed.
Overcoming fear, finding your voice, and mastering the fundamentals of confident delivery
Overcoming fear, finding your voice, and mastering the fundamentals of confident delivery
Level 1 is where transformation begins. Many students enter this level with significant anxiety about public speaking. Some avoid it entirely. Others can speak but lack confidence, clarity, or presence. Level 1 addresses these fundamental challenges head-on, providing students with the tools they need to not just survive public speaking, but to begin to thrive.
The three courses in Level 1 work together to create a comprehensive foundation. "From Shy to Sure" addresses the psychological and emotional barriers to confident speaking. "Speak with Confidence" develops the physical and vocal fundamentals. "Stand and Deliver" teaches structure and organization. Together, these courses ensure students have both the confidence and the skills to speak effectively.
Students learn to manage anxiety, reframe their relationship with public speaking, and build confidence through gradual exposure. This course addresses the "why" behind fear and provides practical tools for overcoming it.
Building on newfound confidence, students develop voice control, body language, and physical presence. This course focuses on the mechanics of deliveryâhow to use your voice and body effectively.
Students learn speech structure, organization, and the fundamentals of engaging delivery. This course brings everything together, teaching students how to organize their thoughts and present them effectively.
Absolutely. Level 1 is specifically designed for students who experience significant anxiety about public speaking. The first course, "From Shy to Sure," directly addresses fear and anxiety using proven techniques. Our coaches work with students at their own pace, creating a safe, supportive environment. Many students report feeling dramatically more confident even after the first course.
While you can technically skip ahead, we strongly recommend completing all three Level 1 courses. They work together to create a comprehensive foundation. If you're already confident but lack voice control, you might start with Course 2, but you'll likely benefit from Course 1's mindset tools as well. Our coaches can help you determine the best path based on your specific needs.
Each course can be taken as a Mini (1 session, 2 hours) or Complete (3 sessions, 6 hours). If you take all three courses as Complete versions, that's 9 sessions total (18 hours). Most students complete Level 1 over 2-3 months, scheduling sessions weekly or bi-weekly. The pace is flexible and can be adjusted to your schedule and goals.
Moving beyond delivery to create emotional connection, tell compelling stories, and influence audiences
Moving beyond delivery to create emotional connection, tell compelling stories, and influence audiences
Level 2 is where students transition from competent speakers to compelling communicators. Having mastered the fundamentals in Level 1, students now learn to create emotional connection, tell stories that resonate, and use persuasion effectively. This level is about moving beyond "delivering information" to "creating impact."
The three courses build on each other: "The Storyteller's Edge" teaches students to turn experiences into powerful narratives. "The Power of Persuasion" adds logical and emotional appeals to create compelling arguments. "Voice of Change" applies these skills to advocacy and social impact, showing students how to use speaking for causes they care about.
Students learn to identify, structure, and deliver stories that create emotional connection. This course teaches the art of narrative and how to use personal experiences to make messages memorable.
Building on storytelling, students learn rhetorical techniques, logical argumentation, and ethical persuasion. This course teaches how to structure arguments that change minds and inspire action.
Students apply storytelling and persuasion to advocacy, learning to speak for social causes, lead movements, and create change. This course connects speaking skills to purpose and impact.
Yes, if you're already confident and have basic delivery skills, you can start at Level 2. However, we recommend at least reviewing Level 1 Course 3 ("Stand and Deliver") to ensure you have strong structure fundamentals. Our coaches can assess your skills and recommend the best starting point.
While Course 3 focuses on advocacy, the skills it teachesâspeaking with passion, connecting to values, inspiring actionâapply to many contexts beyond advocacy. However, if your goals are more focused (e.g., class presentations, competitions), you might prioritize Courses 1 and 2. Our coaches can help you customize your path.
Advanced techniques for leadership, influence, and standout performance in competitions and high-stakes situations
Advanced techniques for leadership, influence, and standout performance in competitions and high-stakes situations
Level 3 is for students ready to become leaders and standouts. Having mastered fundamentals and expression, students now learn advanced techniques for authority, influence, and exceptional performance. This level prepares students for leadership roles, speech competitions, and high-stakes presentations.
The three courses address different aspects of advanced communication: "Speak Like a Leader" develops authority and credibility for leadership roles. "Command the Room" teaches advanced delivery techniques including humor, timing, and audience control. "Words that Win" focuses specifically on speech competition excellence.
Students learn to build authority, motivate peers, and speak with credibility. This course is essential for student government, club leadership, and any role requiring influence.
Students master rhythm, humor, timing, and audience control for standout performances. This course elevates delivery to an art form.
For competitive speakers, this course elevates structure, style, and performance strategy. Students learn what judges look for and how to deliver winning performances.
Absolutely. Level 3 skills apply to many contexts beyond student government: leading group projects, presenting to teachers and administrators, speaking at school events, competing in speech competitions, and preparing for college interviews. The leadership communication skills taught here are valuable for any student who wants to stand out and influence others.
If your primary goal is speech competitions, Course 3 ("Words that Win") is essential. However, Courses 1 and 2 provide valuable skills that enhance competition performanceâauthority, advanced delivery, humor, and timing all contribute to winning speeches. Many competitive speakers benefit from all three courses, but you can customize based on your specific goals.
Developing your unique voice, creating original content, and adapting to modern media
Developing your unique voice, creating original content, and adapting to modern media
Level 4 represents the pinnacle of the programâwhere students become master communicators with their own unique voice and style. Having mastered fundamentals, expression, and leadership skills, students now learn to develop original ideas, create compelling content, and adapt their skills to modern media formats.
The two courses in Level 4 address different aspects of mastery: "The Spark Talk" teaches students to develop, write, and deliver TED-style talks with original ideas worth sharing. "On-Camera Presence" adapts speaking skills for video, digital media, and modern communication platforms.
Students learn to identify their unique ideas, develop them into compelling narratives, and deliver talks that inspire and influence. This course is for students ready to become thought leaders.
Students adapt their speaking skills for video, interviews, online platforms, and digital media. This course prepares students for modern communication contexts.
Level 4 assumes mastery of the skills taught in previous levels. While you don't necessarily need to complete every course in Levels 1-3, you should have strong fundamentals, expression skills, and leadership presence before attempting Level 4. Our coaches can assess your readiness and recommend any prerequisite work.
Yes, you can take Course 2 independently if your primary interest is video and digital media. However, Course 1's focus on developing original ideas and compelling content enhances video work significantly. Many students find value in both courses even if their primary interest is one area.

Sarah, 16, Sophomore
Sarah avoided any situation that required speaking in front of others. When teachers assigned presentations, she'd ask to present privately or write papers instead. Her heart raced, her voice shook, and she felt physically ill at the thought of speaking. She knew this was holding her backâher grades suffered because she couldn't present her work, and she missed opportunities in clubs and activities.
Sarah started with Level 1, Course 1: "From Shy to Sure." Her coach worked patiently with her, using gradual exposure and anxiety management techniques. By the end of the first course, Sarah could speak in front of her coach without panic. After completing all of Level 1, she gave her first class presentationânervous but successful. By Level 2, she was volunteering to speak in class. By Level 3, she ran for student council and won.
Today, Sarah is a confident public speaker who gives presentations regularly, leads a school club, and plans to study communications in college. She says the program didn't just teach her to speakâit transformed her relationship with herself and her capabilities.
Marcus, 17, Junior
Marcus loved public speaking and had natural talent, but he kept placing third or fourth in speech competitions. He could deliver speeches smoothly but struggled to connect with judges and audiences. His speeches felt polished but lacked the emotional impact needed to win. He knew he had potential but couldn't break through to the top tier.
Marcus started at Level 2, focusing on storytelling and emotional connection. His coach helped him identify personal stories that resonated and taught him to structure speeches for maximum impact. He then moved to Level 3, where he learned advanced delivery techniques and competition strategy. The combination of emotional connection and polished performance was transformative.
Marcus won his regional speech competition and placed second at state. More importantly, he developed a unique speaking style that combines authenticity with polish. He's now mentoring younger competitors and plans to continue competing in college.
Emma, 16, Sophomore
Emma wanted to run for student body president and lead school initiatives, but she struggled to communicate her vision effectively. She could speak clearly but lacked the authority and presence needed to inspire others. When she tried to lead meetings or present ideas, people didn't take her seriously. She knew she had leadership potential but couldn't unlock it.
Emma completed Levels 1 and 2 to build strong fundamentals, then focused intensively on Level 3, Course 1: "Speak Like a Leader." Her coach worked with her on building authority, using voice and body language to command respect, and structuring messages that motivate action. She also took Level 2, Course 3 on advocacy to learn to speak for causes.
Emma won the student body presidency and successfully led several school initiatives. She's now recognized as a natural leader who can communicate vision and inspire action. She plans to study political science and continue developing her leadership skills.
David, 17, Senior
David excelled academically but struggled with presentations and oral exams. His written work was excellent, but when he had to present, he came across as monotone and unengaged. Teachers noted that his presentations didn't reflect his knowledge and passion. He was applying to competitive colleges and knew strong communication skills would be essential for interviews and college success.
David completed Level 1 to develop confident delivery, then focused on Level 2 to learn storytelling and persuasion that would make his academic presentations compelling. He also worked on Level 4, Course 2 for interview skills and digital communication. His coach helped him translate his academic knowledge into engaging presentations.
David's presentation grades improved dramatically, and he aced his college interviews. He was accepted to his top-choice university and feels confident about presenting in college classes. He says the program helped him show his true capabilities.
The full program includes 11 courses across 4 levels. If you take each course as a Complete version (3 sessions each), that's 33 sessions total (66 hours). Most students complete the full program over 6-12 months, scheduling sessions weekly or bi-weekly. However, you can customize your pace based on your goals and schedule.
Many students don't complete all four levelsâthey focus on the levels that match their goals. For example, a student primarily interested in overcoming anxiety might complete Levels 1-2, while a competitive speaker might focus on Levels 2-3.
Yes, with guidance from our coaches. While the program is designed progressively, students can enter at any level that matches their skills. Our coaches assess each student's needs and recommend the best starting point. You can also take courses out of order within a level if your goals are specific. However, we generally recommend following the progression within each level, as courses build on each other.
Our coaches can help you determine the right starting point. During your first session, your coach will assess your current skills, goals, and challenges, then recommend the best level and courses for you. Many students start at Level 1 to build a strong foundation, even if they have some speaking experience. It's better to strengthen fundamentals than to skip ahead and have gaps.
Our program offers several key advantages:
Many students take our program alongside speech classes or debate clubâthey complement each other well. Our program provides the personalized foundation and advanced skills that group activities can't always offer.
Many students continue with advanced coaching, return to specific courses for refreshers, or move on to our College-level programs. Communication skills benefit from ongoing practice and refinement. You can also explore our other High School programs (College Applications, Leadership, Social Confidence) to develop complementary skills.
Yes. Our 1-on-1 format allows coaches to adapt to each student's learning style and needs. We've worked successfully with students with various learning differences, anxiety disorders, and other challenges. The personalized approach means we can adjust techniques, pacing, and strategies to work for each individual. Please discuss your specific needs with us when enrolling so we can match you with an appropriate coach.
